It’s been an exciting year for Nibsy Agriculture Solutions founder Nicholar Boas, who was recently recognised at the Lily Magazine 3rd Annual Homemade Microbusiness Competition — taking out the Edible Category Award and 2nd Runner-Up for her innovative creation, Warapipe Herbal Blue Salt.
Made from traditional ingredients and infused with antioxidant-rich butterfly pea flowers, the mineral-rich blue salt was developed to support better health among Papua New Guineans facing lifestyle-related illnesses such as high blood pressure and diabetes.

Nicholar’s unique product blends agricultural knowledge with wellness innovation, showing how natural resources can be transformed into functional, homegrown solutions.
The Lily Magazine competition celebrates Papua New Guinea’s creativity and entrepreneurship, highlighting small business owners who are turning local ideas into sustainable ventures.
Nicholar’s win reflects Nibsy’s mission — to grow purposeful, locally inspired products that nurture both people and the land.
